I'm back from E3 and I finnally got a good taste of the *full* alpha/beta?
GPL. I'm totally impressed, It's everything we are hoping for. I got a chance
to run Spa and the Ring, with AI cars and the damage model on, and enough seat
time to really feel it out. The coner flags were a pleasent surprize!
Dave Matson was there, and I talked with him a bit. It looks like an August
release. He seemed pretty firm about that.
I ran the N3 demo a little too, it's pre alpha, It was neet too.
I looked a the force feedback wheels, and tried a couple. My feeling was that
they are set more for arcade games than sims at this point.
I met Mario Andretti there, and got his autograph :-). He was with the Mad
Catz booth.
I looked at the other car type games, after GPL I can't say they were very
interesting to me.
The only bummer now is the wait untill August :-(
