My system is P-200MMx, 64 Ram AWE 64, and just added a Diamond Monster 3DII
card to my Providea 9685 card. The game starts , but when you go to start
the race it just freezes the machine. I do have Direct 6.0 and the 3D
graphics start, but parts of the track are black and it appears the detail
is washed out. What am I doing wrong?
Get the latest Voodoo 2 drivers,either from Diamond or www.3dfx.com that
should fix the problem.

Goto www.3dfx.com and get the generic/reference drivers.

Yeah. I had trouble with the***pit side panels "flashing" and when I
replaced the latest Creative drivers with the 3DFX reference drivers
(despite their disclaimer) the problem vanished.
