As the humble owner of a k6233 / pure3d system.
Has anyone out there with a comprable system tried
out 'net play? If it's the AI that soaks up the cpu,
maybe network play without AI will work nicely?
(fingers crossed).

I have a K6 running at 75x3=225. It works fine in Internet play. I run
with some of the graphics detail turned off, at 640x480 resolution. If
you have a cable modem, the situation should be much better, since a
network card (as used by cable modems) is much less demanding of CPU
resources than the serial port.
