Should I get GPL?

Right now, you'd only be able to run it in software mode, and performance would probably be pretty poor. I would recommend either replacing your video card with an 8Mb Hercules Thriller (~$140), or adding a Voodoo2 card (~$200), so that you can use 3d acceleration. GPL only supports hardware acceleration for Rendition and 3dfx. I would also recommend adding another 32M of RAM. Your CPU should be fine.

Hi, Im running it on a p200mmx 42meg DRAM Voodoo 1. After tweaking the detail byass and some frame rate testing (memorys of gp2 processor occupancy) I came up with a pretty enough comprimise to allow 19 ai cars in 640x480 at 15fps. Very playable. -Berno

Howdy, I have a system similar to Berno, but 15fps seems a bit slow. However, I'd be interested in what your graphics settings are to obtain that rate. YES! VOODOO is the way to go.There is no better upgrade for gameing anywhere.
