Just got a new computer with 450mhz processor, 128ram, 2 Creative Labs Voodoo
2 3DFX cards, sb 32 soundcard and WIN 98. GPL installed fine. When I try to
run GPL the game will start and usually locks up right away and sometimes
after half a lap and gives me the error code "This program has performed an
illegal operation and will be shut down". Details often say "caused an
invalid page fault in module Kernal32.dll". This problem is also occuring
frequently in other programs such as Internet Explorer. Not sure if this is
a: 1) GPL problem, 2)WIN 98 problem, and/or 3)hardware related problem. Any
help or suggestions is GREATLY appreciated.

Hi John,
I had problems in Win98 with GPL as well. My solution was to reinstall Win98
fresh -- IE: install to a empty directory. I just installed the Monster1 3Dfx
reference drivers and GPL works :) My SB AWE64 was supported
'out of the box' so I didn't upgrade its software (yet).
Jason.

Could be a Registry problem, try running RegClean.
