GPL - Nine Days in Summer

Quick note: Speedvision broadcast the first half of Nine Days in Summer (from which the shots in the GPL intro movie are taken) today at 11:30 EST. They will rebroadcast it later in the day/early morning I am sure (as a cable network things are often shown twice to allow for differing time zones). One week from today they will air the second half. What I noticed with shots from Zadnvoort, Spa, Mexico, the Nurburgring and Silverstone is that the cars were not driven with gobs of oversteer around corners with full opposite lock like some of the hotlap replays show. More like a controlled four wheel slide past the apex and on the gas early as the car is pointing in the right direction right from the get-go. A few shots where someone was a little too hot and went wide with oversteer on the exit and full opposite lock to save the car from the spin - a total loss of momentum resulted. The other thing I noticed is how accurate the advertising boards are in GPL. Well done Papyrus! Cheers all, Gian Vizthum.
