I just bought GPL. I 've got a small problem however. It won't install.
During installation (while copying) I get the following message:
"An error occurred during the move data process: -117"
ok? [return]
"ComponentMoveData had the following error:
Media Name: Data
Component: SIGS Components
File Group:
File: G:\SNWValid.dll
Error number: -117
(refer to the oline help)"
Anybody else having this problem? Is it because of a corrupt cd-rom (it
looks okay though)?
Is it because of the CD-player (36x AOPEN)? I tried to install it on a
second PC
(Win 98 and TEAC CD-rom 6x) and got the same message.
I have plenty disk space, it is not that simple! After a clean install of
win98, it still did not work (same message). I have tried DirectX 5
(standard for win98 and 6.0 core).
Some info: I have got a Diamond Monster 3D II (8Mb), Millennium G200, and
the latest drivers.
It is the first time a game won't install (GP2, F1RS and NFSIII, to name but
a few, work without a hitch).
Do I need to go back (well, not really ;-) ) to win95 OSR2?
