Arggggghhhhhhhhhhhh..... Promises, promises....I shoulda known those no-namers at Tantrum were *actually* interested in a quick buck and not in "developing a drag sim FOR racers BY racers" Sorry had to vent...I did it 4 months ago and this is the last time (the patch to fix the load times 3dfx support and TM throttle/brake was announced DAYS after the release, for those wondering) Anyway, I still play it, an SLI in LOW RES! and still wonder wtf AGP mode looks like!!! Hammer down! Parke Cochran Talladega, AL Big and Bold
I have an AGP card and a P2/450 and I cant get it to display right in AGP either. My card is an ATI All in Wonder 8 MEG. It does let me see High res, though, and it looks really nice. I also have a MOnsterII 12 meg, FWIW. I like the sim, it does capture the feel pretty well for me at least, but there are surely some ragged edges to be polished up. dx ---== http://www.newsfeeds.com - Largest Usenet Server In The World! ==--- ---== http://www.newsfeeds.com - Largest Usenet Server In The World! ==---

I had a Viper 330 with a PII 233 and I could run in AGP textures and it looked great. Now I have the Viper 550 and it still looks great with the AGP textures. You don't need a blazing processor to run it properly. I just don't understand the problems you guys seem to be having. I am disappointed that the patch is taking this long. If the patch is called NHRA 2 I won't be buying it. I think they owe us a free patch.

I have previously asked if they ever fixed the 3dfx problems that people have previously reported. I have assumed that the pedal issue has long since been fixed. Is this still screwed up too? Sheesh... -- Header address intentionally scrambled to ward off the spamming hordes. cisko [AT] ix [DOT] netcom [DOT] com >Arggggghhhhhhhhhhhh..... >Promises, promises....I shoulda known those no-namers at Tantrum were >*actually* interested in a quick buck and not in "developing a drag sim FOR >racers BY racers" >Sorry had to vent...I did it 4 months ago and this is the last time (the >patch to fix the load times 3dfx support and TM throttle/brake was announced >DAYS after the release, for those wondering) >Anyway, I still play it, an SLI in LOW RES! and still wonder wtf AGP mode >looks like!!! >Hammer down! >Parke Cochran >Talladega, AL >Big and Bold
