If I understand correctly the Super Sport pedals will not support separate
axis, If this is true would it be possible to use the Pro pedal assy. with
the Super Sport.
I'm thinking about purchasing a backup for my Pro and the SS pricing is very
attractive but prefer pedals w/ separate axis.

The Super Sport pedals default to separate axis in DOS (no way to make
them combined in DOS). I Windows, you have software control over
whether they will work combined or separate.
