allowed here. If you enjoy driving Ferrari in GPL, please come and
take a look, and send your best laps to us!

What is the deal with the no Lotus stuff. I really don't understand this.
Really when you think avout a fast guy is fast in anything. I would much
rather be beaten by a fast guy in a Lotus then, by the same guy in a BRM
for example. The BRM would be much more humiliating.

Its just a way for people who dont drive the lotus to get on a hotlap board.
Frankly i agree with the idea. Yes a fast driver will be fast in
anything...but some people drive other cars. Personally i dont drive the Lotus
cause of the fact that everyone drives it. I drive the BRM and sometimes the
Coventry or Eagle.
Now if there were only a BRM hotlap page....
Chris
Well I drive everything, the funny deal is tho I can run a low 105 at
Watkins in the Louts and be consistant, I am most proud of my 106.19 lap in
the BRM. I think Chris Econmaki said it best when he said a good driver
will be fast in one area but a truely great driver will be fast in
anything. After seeing guys like Wolfgang run faster then anything I can
do in the Lotus with Coopers and the such, Chris' words ring very true.

like you say, people are more proud to be fast in slower cars than faster
cars cause it takes more.

well than I do the Lotus. I feel that I can extract that extra tenth or
two out of the Ferrari or Coventry as I have the confidence to chuck
them around that little bit more.
I do plan to return to the Lotus in time, perhaps after the IGPS series
finishes in April(?), but for now I want to develop my driving in a
friendlier car :-)
Cheers!

Graeme I drive everthing too so I can race with others. It no fun to get
with a group of newer racers and leaving them in ur dust so I drive the BRM
a lot and the Brabham along with the lotus. Tho when i need to run fast i
feel the Lotus gives me the best car to do the job.
