Oooohhhh....
Here's some important breaking news...
From Gamecenter.com
"Hasbro Interactive is racing away with NASCAR.
The publisher announced today that it has signed a five-year licensing
agreement to develop family and children's software games and interactive
toys based on the NASCAR racing series. The announcement was made at the
start of the annual International Toy Fair in New York City.
The Hasbro/NASCAR deal links the nation's second largest toy maker with the
fastest growing sport in the country. Among the first titles to be released
will be CD-ROM Playsets. Meanwhile, Hasbro will develop a wide range of toys
and games based on NASCAR. The first of these NASCAR products are due out
near the end of the year. "
Well, Papy, we knew if you waited too long, your days were numbered!
Well this really means nothing for Papy. Hasbro is using the Nascar name to
make interactive games and toys. they are not making sims and the
liscensing agrement is not exclusive. This does not mean Papy can never
make a Nascar game again with the NASCAR. This has no bearing on the Papy
Nascar relationship.
