I have also purchased the RS wheel from Act Labs and i am very
disappointed with it !!! Love the feel of the wheel, but it is a *** to
configure and cant get buttons to work ?? The pedals seem to be very
sticky and not smooth !!! Does anyone know how to configure this wheel ??
I purchased the Act Lab RS steering wheel set for christmas
this, year. I like it a lot but have a couple of problems that make
it really difficult to enjoy to it's fullest (and really hard to play
GPL). Anyway:
(1) The gas and brake pedals don't really "stick" but they are
not smooth at all, I tried opening it up and lubing the assembly and
even loosening (sp?) the nuts that hold it all together to get it to
move smoother with no luck. Anyone out there with the Force RS or RS
having this problem and any fixes?
(2) The set doesn't seem to calibrate very well at all in ICR
2, or even all that well in the windows joystick calibrate thing, it
seems that if I turn the wheel to full lock on both sides and press
the pedals all the way down, to calibrate it, the steering will be off
center as will the gas pedal (always on a little bit). Also it
jiggles around constantly. Is this a software problem or what?
