Wow.. I finally found a working demo. It was buried deep with the papyrus site, for some reason the ones of the Sierra site are on a slower FTP than the Papy site. All I can say is Wow! Amazing feel.. love that sliding drift through the turns... A couple observations and questions though.. 1) Is 1.31 a good time on Watkins using the Novice car with realistic damage on? 2) Where is the smoke from the tires? I have seen screen shots of smoke coming from tires when you slide. On my Banshee the only smoke I get is a little from the hay stacks when I hit them, which is often <G> (I have all details maxed) 3) I take it there are no AI cars to race against in the demo? Me thinks Ill be taken a trip to Wally marts tonight.... -- -Gunslinger-

> All I can say is Wow! A couple things, wait until you try the Ferrari and hear that engine wail! The other thing you'll notice is that the program works right out of the box without any patches! Can you believe that? If there are any bugs I sure haven't found them. I've seen a few minor ones, but nothing that'll stop you from having fun, unlike wingmen that drop their entire load on a target or not engage the enemy or stupid things like that. It's just fun, fun, fun. So your next purchase will be a steering wheel/pedal controller, right? ;-) Nathan

In a novice car, I'm not sure what a good time is. In a GP car, a good time will be under 1:10 for a novice driver and as you get faster, youll work to under 1:07 and soon to 06 and 05 maybe. When in a GP car, you will see more smoke, check out the replays. You will be spinning the tires all over. The novice trainer cars wont have much tire spin compared to the GP cars though. Jesse Wow..
