So - I rushed off to Soundblaster to grab it. Installed unified driver and put
glide2.53 in GPL. Gpl would not hold the 3dfx setting on reload! It always
reverted back to software mode. Maybe one would have to do a re-install of GPL?
[I used the software install for my TNT and openGL]
Something I have never seen addressed is which install should be used for
openGL.
On reflection, of course I should have 3dfx install for unified driver - seems
reasonable but I don't really want to re-install unless it can't be avoided.

OK - I did it - you knew I would - right?
Sad to say I had the same results with a 3dfx install. > Gpl would not hold the
3dfx setting on reload! It always
At least it still works with openGL, albeit at 22-26 fps. [C400 w/ 128M - CL16M
TNT - SBlive(crackle-crackle!) - PDPI L4]
A distressing side effect to this experiment is that I did not save the seasons
folder with the calendar files containing the schedule for all of the Pits
tracks. Could someone tell me how to edit them or perhaps even take pity and
e-mail the seasons folder to me? Thanks.
