I had no interest in ffb until it became apparent that GPL 1.1 will have it.
So now I own three steering wheels, including a Sidewinder acquired last
night.
Yeah, it's okay, I guess -- feedback that is. Over a couple of Sam Adams
last night, I tried Viper, and it adds quite a bit to that sim. SCGT
feedback is less impressive. Maybe it was just the combination of Friday
night and the Sams, but I had the most fun driving Monster Truck Madness,
which was bundled with the wheel!
So now I've got a taste, but that isn't enough. I want to feel my Eagle get
light through Eau Rouge. I want to feel the rumble when I catch a little
gravel at Kyalami. Give me a jolt when I hit a curb at Monaco.
I'll be running hot laps all day, looking for all the spots where feedback
could be impressive. But I can't wait much longer. Please, patch me soon!
