Hi
Has anyone else experienced a dramatic slow down in the frame rate, but only
when qualifying, and only on some parts of the track? It seems that my
system works fine and fast in practice and the race (even with 12+ cars
around me), but as soon as i go to qualify the frame rate jumps around,
making the game unplayable....so i end up quitting qualifying every time (or
crashing!). But once i'm racing, the frame rate is quite good, and never
really slows down, even at the start with all the other cars around
me.Extremely frustrating - this makes the game unplayable. Is this a bug?
does anyone know how to fix this?
I have a AMD K62 300 with a Creative 3D Blaster Voodoo2 8 meg.

I have the same problem on my machine. I think its a problem with the
program, not your computer.

I have a k6/2-300, but I have a Voodoo3 3k. I don't get any slowdowns in
qualifying. I have my graphic settings at low track and car textures, but
max texture quality, at 800x600. My frame rates are pretty good an all the
tracks.
