I have just upgraded my hdwe for better performance with
GPL, my system includes both a Thriller 8mb AGP and a 12mb
Voodoo2. I normally run GPL with the Rendition card but
decided I'd try the Voodoo2 to compare fps. I changed the
settings in the game, closed it but when tried to restart
the game I got a small error box on the desktop that
said "Expecting VXD 1.4, got 1.2" and the game wouldn't
load. I had to go back and reload GPL with the Rendition
option clicked to get it to start again.
Any idea what VXD 1.4 is? I've loaded the glide 2.53
driver in my gpl file and I tried reloading the drivers
from the Voodoo2 CD but to no avail.
Help Please!
