Should I - Upgrade my current All in Wonder Pro 8MB to a All in Wonder Rage 128? Or Keep the All in Wonder Pro and add on a Voodoo 2 12MB? I still got 32mb but I think that will be fine, if the game just runs faster overall. The real bottleneck is the CPU. I played GPL for months on a P200 with Diamond Stealth S220. I also had a voodoo1 but the Stealth did a better job of GPL - much better image quality and slightly better framerates. If you play anything other than GPL (and I'm sure you do) try and pick up a voodoo1. You'll get one for next to nothing right now (and the Stealth for that matter, buy 'em both!). Getting a V2 or V3 will give no advantage on that processor and might even turn out to be -slower-. Mark Reading, UK Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Share what you know. Learn what you don't.

I could be wrong, but I don't think P200 has enough horsepower to feed either of these cards... It takes a really fast processor to keep up with what today's 3D cards can deliver. FWIW... -Larry

I've got a P200MMX, with a 4Mb Matrox Millennium (1) and and 12Mb Voodoo 2. I've never had any problems and generally things work fine. -- AG Remove removes to remove anti-spam measures. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Alan Gauton Tel 141-548-2686 EEE Department, SPD, Fax 141-552-2487 204 George St., Glasgow G1 1XW http://www.spd.eee.strath.ac.uk/users/ag ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Never for me the lowered banner, never the last endeavour! i have a P200 and it works fine with two voodoo2 cards. but your right in a way, it's not enough power to handle most of the graphics of todays new games. but it is enough to run most of the games.
