I just found my old copy of GP2. After installation and calibration myCH Virtual Pilot Pro and CH Pedals do not function properly. They calibrate both in Win98 and in the game. The throttle & brake as well as the gear shifts do not fucntion. Are there any patches for this. I am running dx6.1 and all works fine in GPL.

No patches that I know of. Did you set the correct axis and buttons in the Contol method screen of GP2? And did you try control driven calibration (not sure if it's appropriate, but it won't hurt to try either). Bart Westra

Yes to all the above. I see joy a and b, hor. and ver. Tried every combo available :( I used to play this thing with win95. On Thu, 12 Aug 1999 10:04:23 +0200, "Bart Westra"

Well, I have no straight answer then. GP2 under W98 runs fine over here. I have used a CH Flightstick, ECCI CDS2R wheel and pedals, and a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback wheel as controllers. What I find strange is that you can calibrate in the game, but not drive. To break down the problem, you can try the following (if you didn't try already): 1. Set the control method to use keys. If that doesn't work, you probably have not selected a driver and team. 2. If keys work, try using a simple joystick, using the joystick control method of GP2. It should be listed as Controller ID#1 in Windows 98 - Control Panel - Game controllers - Advanced. For some reason it won't work with other ID#'s. 3. Once a simple joystick works, try the CH gear. Hope you find the problem. Bart Westra
