Does anybody know when the Driver demo will be released? I remember reading
the official demo would be out sometime in mid August. It's almost September
and no demo?

There is a demo at www.pczone.co.uk can't say if it's official or not.
Keyboard only, 3Dfx only. Works really well for me - P3 450, V3 3000.

That's still the 'unofficial' one. I wish a newer version with wheel
support and some improvements regarding the car graphics was released.
And maybe an 'instant replay' option.
BTW, what is it the cops are saying? I can understand "suspect is
heading east, west, etc." and "suspect has hit another vehicle" and
"we've lost him", but there is another sentence which is played
sometimes. I think it is played when I run a red light, but not
always.

It could be released this week, but who knows?
It will be announced for the last Friday and wasn't released.
