Interesting, I've tweaked 1 byte for a 'noCD-patch', and my fps on V2 (PII450) are in the 33/34fps range. I'll try the original GPL1.1 exe then, to see if that works. And perhaps GPL1.0 one more time, just to get the old feel. I thought the drop in framerate was caused by moving from GPL1.0 to 1.1.0.3 (mainly in my case I think because of the force feedback, which for MSFF takes quite some time because it is MIDI). I have noticed that if I disable FF with my MSFFW in N3, I pick up 3-5 fps. I am beginning to think using the Midi signal lines was not a smart idea on Microsoft's part. I also think it's why the MSFFW is starting to fee sluggish to me. Like the front wheel on a Cessna 152-2 and it's bungie system :) Boing.. -Larry > On Mon, 20 Sep 1999 23:47:30 +0200, "Zeke Varg" > >When I use the noCD-patch my FPS drop to 27-33 from the 36 I have with CD,
