This is what Sierra Germany has to say about the patch today (according to
the Babelfish translator):
"This Patch is no longer available for the moment. Unfortunately the version
supplied here was provided with a zeitbegrenzung up to 30.09.99. Since 1,10
the Patch is no longer functional. Who already installed the Patch and now
problems has, GPL should deinstallieren completely and wait after the new
installation, until we place next week the corrected version of the Patches
to the Download. Patch on version 1.2.0.x von Grand Prix Legends. All fixed
and improvements are listed and avowedly in the Readme. Importantly above
all: Fixed the Thrustmaster ff steering wheel bug and now is possible the
activation of FF support (see Readme). Problems by Patch developed the 1,1,3
partly are all recovered."
These guys appear to be clueless (posting the "patch" in the first place)
but let's keep our fingers crossed for next week.
