Now there's a nice mixup...
You have a V3 card, not a TNT card, right?
Voodoos will do Glide, OpenGl and D3D nicely.
TNTs will do OpenGL and D3D nicely, but not Glide.
GPL works very well in Glide mode.
GPL _can_ work in OpenGL with a patch, but some graphics suffer
somewaht, but framrate OK due to the raw power of the TNT2.
N3 works very well in either mode. (and I won't post my D3D-Glide
comparisions here. Issue not solved!)

Morris Glide is only for 3dfx cards while the TNT's rock when in Open GL

But not in GPL!
In GPL for whatever reason, OpenGL sucks!

I think they have few beta patches but since I'm having glide cards for
past 2 years I wouldn't know...
Is it the same thing with N3? I see only d3d and glide modes?

What more do you want?
open gl is rearely used in racing sims.
N3 is better in 3dfx, because Papy does better programming for Voodoo-cards.
