Hi,
I *WAS* looking forward to Spirit of Speed 1937... until I finished
my download about 15 mins ago! Lets just say that this is defently NOT
GPL! This "game" <caugh caugh> reeks of Arcade! Everything from the
aweful engine sounds/tire squeels to the time ticker on the right hand
side of the screen! (I don't think real dirvers had that in 1937!) I
tried hitting some things and recieved no car damage! It didn't seem you
really had to slow down to take a corner! I could go on but you get the
point! :) I sure hope this demo is only a reflection of "Arcade mode"
not "Simulation mode". If it is, then us North Americans are somewhat
blessed not the be getting this game on store shelves! (it'll leave more
room for (hopefully) better racing sims!) And Microprose will probably
claim this thing is a sim!
