The biggest problem is likely your MaxMTU settings in your registry (and
a few other even MORE esoteric keys, too). I suggest you get either EasyMTU
or NetMaster from www.winfiles.com and use them to tweak your settings. You
need an MTU setting of around 1500 - NOT the default.
