Hello! I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with a Diamond V770 Ultra (32MB) in Nascar3. The video is choppy and the game sometimes crashes or displayes the "out of video memory" message. I also have an 8MB Diamond Monster 2 card that works fine using the Glide setting. All drivers are current, and im working with a fresh install of Windows 98. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! -Bill Here is some system info: PII 333 mHz 66 mHz motherboard 64 MB RAM Direct X 7.0 Diamond V770 Ultra 32MB - Direct 3D Diamond Monster II 8MB - Glide Sound Blaster AWE64
I had the same problems with my 600mhz P3 & Viper770 ultra. Using the glide mode and a set of dual 12mb monster voodoo2s works fine. The latest Diamond drivers or the latest nVidia detonator drivers did not help either. Sorry I could not be of much help... just wanted you to know that... me too.

Ok.. thanks for responding. Yeah, I guess we'll have to wait till they patch the game, or fix the V770 drivers. -Bill > I had the same problems with my 600mhz P3 & Viper770 ultra.
