I havent played GPL for about a week now (to busy running NL and DTR) but i
decided to get back on my feet in that tonight. I was already in a nostalgic
mood after running a 125 lapper at Texas World Speedway in NL. I jump in the
car at Spa...ran an out lap...next lap was within .2 of my PB. Lap after...new
PB!!! 3:26.57! Next I go to Zandy for a 6 lap novice race...qual at a new PB
of 1:28.92. Finish second with an amazing slide job on Hulme in the last
corner of the last lap. Finally I go to Kyalami...where i struggled for months
to break 1:26.4...tonight i destroy my old PB by going 1:25.50!! Now I've been
in a good mood after doing well in GPL before but tonight I'm totally elated.
Three PB's and a second at Zandy where I usually do horribly...my previous best
there was a 1:31.84. All this after being away from GPL for a week or
so...maybe I should stay away from it for a while longer and ill be even
better...he he
Chris
Good on ya Chris!
This phenomenon has been observed by various people having endured a
voluntary or involuntary break from GPL. I've been attempting to do the
same, but I can't force myself to stay away long enough I guess. ;-(
