If I launch burnout or burnout PCE, it will run fine the first time but if I
exit the game and try and go back in, the screen goes black for a second
like it normally does, but then it goes right back to my desktop with no
error messages. the only way to launch burnout again is to reboot or go to
my "display Properties" and view my voodoo2 settings. then it will run once
and i will have to start the process over again if I exit bunout.
any ideas

You are correct !!!! This problem dissappeared when I
installed a VooDoo 3 2000.
