sigh....this was covered ad-infinitum over at the old simbin forums... Usually you get a run time error from having tooooooooo many cars. Have you added a new carset? Have you tried adding a new package to the mod like the 360 GT Challenge? Check Blackhole or Racesim central forums, see if they have GTR help threads going yet. There is a batch file in your f1 2k2 folder called delete_pro_drivers or something close to that...this will rename the extra car file for each car that simbin included to avoid the mismatch online errors that clutch users were getting with non-clutch users. Finally the F360 challenge does update the pregame menu, you can have about double the number of cars if you are using the F360 front end. quick fix guide install f1 2k2 and test drive it install gtr2k2 and test drive it. install gtr2k2 v1.2 and test drive it. If you plan on lots of extra cars then install the F360 Challenge addon mod Only then attempt to add additional cars, making sure all the new cars are v1.2 compatible. Don't add a bunch of single cars in one session...add a car...TEST IT then try another...
Thanks for advise. I tried everything but my problems isn't solved yet:-( Bo "Dave Henrie" <[email hidden]> skrev i melding news:[email hidden]...

What OS are you using? If you have XP make sure you have at least the first service pak installed. Have you tried starting GTR with the two alternate exe files? GTRrun.exe and GTRlite.exe Have you updated your Windows media player...I think the GTR video requires the latest version. What video card and what vesion of directX are you using? dave henrie
