I've seen quite a number of posts on this subject so I'll clear it up here.
Apparently, Legends Daytona from the demo is encoded differently than the
Nascar 3 version. The nascar 3 version was done in such a way that it could
be placed in Nascar 3 and function, but not the legends version. They've
basically recoded the track to a different format than the one used in
Legends. Currently no one has been able to reverse engineer the new
programming to allow it to work in Legends.

I am sure that Charlie still has legal ties to Papy for a certain
period of time after he terminates his employment.

say that that's the truth. sooo, I noticed that the wall remover patch
worked on NL daytona so it can be packed and un packed, can anybody take 3do
files and resave them in older format hopefully making it work??? just
throwing up ideas...i have demo and zipped up raw install for legends(about
27 meg), i will send to anybody, via some sort of file transfer (aolIM, pow
wow....)to anybody that might want to work on this problem. everything i
own N,N2,N99,N3,NL,and Daytona demo have been paid for so i do support Papy.
