Is there a readme or a manual for NetKar somewhere? I'd like to know
which keys can be used in the game. Some function keys give some very
weird views, I can't find the button to forward/rewind replays, and
most of all I'd like to know where the Shift-R button is.. Driving the
Supra on the Ring is hard <g>
Andre
There should be a readme in the main netkar folder

PS I noticed something strange, Press F3 for the internal view, press
F4 to turn mirrors off, press F3 for internal view again and you have
a different internal view.. Especially for the Mondena the second
internal view is much better :)

Don't press the F and then a number but use those big buttons on top
of your keyboard!

Strange, it works here.. The second internal view is much more zoomed

Great you found your way to netKar Andre :) Guess the wife permits
racing then :D
About the zoom thing, you sure you didn't change the FOV?
Cheers,

She does, allthough the time I can spend behind my pc has decreased
dramatically :-/
>About the zoom thing, you sure you didn't change the FOV?
There are 2 of these cockpit views, F2 and F3. With the F3 view you
can't (well at least I can't) use the FOV keys. But when you turn the
mirror off in F2 mode, and you switch to F3 mode, you have a totally
different FOV than with the mirror on.
Say, did I understand correctly that you did the Ring conversion to
Netkar? Is there a way you think to fix that horizon problem? The Ring
is the best track to drive in Netkar (hell the best track in ANY sim
:) but that weird horizon problem is kind of taking away the realism
:)
And while you're at it, how about NetkarRA? :)

Yep.

I'll most likely not do anything more on the Ring. I mainly converted
it to see if my converter program and netKar could handle the track.
To do a good version of the Ring would take too much time for me I'm
afraid. :/
>And while you're at it, how about NetkarRA? :)
Most likely not! :) I'll try just to race netKar. Although when GPL
was released I said the same thing...

Thanks! :) Driving the GTO on the Norschleife is one of the best
experiences in my Sim racing career :)
By the way, in september I will be 2 days on the Nordschleife with an
Lotus Elise.. should be even more fun ;)

And me giving you the puppy-eye look wouldn't help a bit, would it..

working..)
