Hi, anyone know the Huttu Lotus setup for Monza 1:26:52 ? Is a 45/85 diff . What do u think about it ? I'm using it but I've some doubtses is good ; my best with this setup is 27:73
I prefer more 'normal' diffs. I use 60/45 3 and find 26's easy at monza. dan "Gengisgat" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:bcsfv5$kq5$[email hidden]...

Change the setting if you don't like it? A setup is best if it fits the drivers style. ;) "Gengisgat" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:bcsfv5$kq5$[email hidden]... > Hi, > > anyone know the Huttu Lotus setup for Monza 1:26:52 ? I use huttu race setups but I put the brake at 57% and the diff to 85/30 and I can lap all day at good speeds for me.

I'll let you in on a little secret: Its not the setup. I never felt comfortable with Greger's setups. They didn't fit my driving style. You do not need a WR setup to to 26s at Monza. The line and braking points is more important than a WR setup. My tip would be to brake a tad earlier than you think is fast. That way you will get better corner exits. Good corner exits are essential if you are aiming for fast laps. Good exits are far more important than late braking. Of course, there might be a few turns at a few tracks where I have no brake markers. In that case, I think I judge when to brake by a combination of engine sound and elapsed time from last corner. I use a white grease pencil on my monitor screen, that way I don't have to worry about the Brake markers or racing groove spots being blocked by traffic. Of course with dozens of turns at 100's of tracks, I can't really tell which grease pencil mark is which, but it really hasn't seemed to slow me down any more than usual. dave henrie

And for those who thinks Herr von Henrie is kidding, I've raced with him enough to verify that it's quite possible he's using this method Beers and cheers (uncle) Goy "goyl at nettx dot no" http://www.theuspits.com "A man is only as old as the woman he feels........" --Groucho Marx--
