Well ... cat impact! I have a CDS2 myself and since i bought it in 1996 I never regreted the price of 700 US Dollars that time. Its still the best wheel Ive ever tested. And in combination with a PDPI even more perfect. If youre looking for a outstanding product, try to get this one.Buy a USB converter from Radioshack for 15 US more and youll be equipped ! Ah ... i forgot.. Theres only one problem which i cannot solve: My ECCI is on permanent split axis.So the brake is configured as "rudder Control" on a seperate axis. No problem with all Papy sims, but a problem with nearly all other sims. Why? When the brake is released, the red bar in Windows calibration Test screen is full. Its going down when the brake is pressed.A lot of sims recognize the seperate axis, but the dont differ between a + / - .So what happens is,that these sims see my break pressed while its released and the other way round. So,what i need to do is to reverse the values of my brake pot.I didnt find a software solution til now. One day i just switched the cables on the pot,but that did not help. Are there any other ECCI / TSW users around who have discovered the same problem? Michael "Schuhhaus Wollenschein" <[email hidden]> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:ar5ab6$ch8$04$[email hidden]...

Oddly enough I have the exact same problem with my pos TM PD2. In Papy games it's fine, but in others, like NFSHP, I have to hold the brake down before I press the calibrate button, then release it when I have clicked on "Calibration". It works. I have an ECCI and got tired of the split axis hassle and simply re-wired it to change it to dual axis. Still works fine in N2002 and now works fine in all the other racing games. If your interested I can give you a couple of links that will allow you to do it without to much trouble. Steve Paradise
