Hi, im attempting to host a game behind my firewall: internal workstation --->win2k server Fireewall --->Nat So basically im connecting via server which operates as firewall and NAT's to internal lan. Ive tried creating a port mapping on my external adapter in RRAS for port 3297. Keeping getting firewall errors reporting unnasigned or addressed to unopened packets? I can connect to a remote host fine and play multiplayer but noone seems to be able to connect to me. Anyone know how i set this up properly. TIA H

I think there is a faq over at f1relay.com for F1 2001. But I would think it should be pretty similar for 2k2. They have a forum too where net-techs might be hiding also. dave henrie

As I recall f1200X uses shitloads of ports for multiplayer so you might just as well switch the firewall off and keep NAT in place for the duration of the online game. uwe -- mail replies to Uwe at schuerkamp dot de ( yahoo address is spambox) Uwe Schuerkamp //////////////////////////// http://www.schuerkamp.de/ Herford, Germany \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (52.0N/8.5E) GPG Fingerprint: 2E 13 20 22 9A 3F 63 7F 67 6F E9 B1 A8 36 A4 61

Give these port mappings a shot. I got these somewhere of the High Gear F1 2002 forums, they work for me. TCP 3397 TCP 30477 UDP 17677 UDP 3497 UDP 3297-3301 Ice D
