Hi,
I was goofing off on the Indy track in f12002 by going the wrong way down
the straight the way that CART races on the 'oval'. Well when I got to the
barricades in turn 2 I just crashed into them for fun and I ended up on the
wrong side of the barricades!
The entire Indy oval is there with trackside objects and everything. So
much so that it makes me think there must be a cheat code in game to allow
you to race on the oval. I mean the oval looked real good, all the way
around.
The only thing stopping you from running a full lap on the oval are 6 large
objects which are laid across the track in turns 2 and 4.
But I can't find a cheat code to open this up.
??
Sorry if this is known, I can't find anything about it anywhere.
glen
It might not be so much a cheat code but it probably would be a relatively
simple trackedit to remove those objects.

fairly simple procedure to update 2001 tracks to work with 2k2. (The best
place I found that explains it is the Night LeMans tracksite. However, I
had to search for the tool, masstudio 2002 to get it done.
I would assume the Indy Oval would convert in the same manner at
LeMansNight track did. (making sure the setups are for Indy and NOT NLM. )
I'll take a look at it tonight, but I don't have a place to upload it. So
IF you follow the instructions at
http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~ak2k-wd/lemantrack.html
for converting the track to 2002 it should work(keep in mind the
instructions are specifically for Night LeMans but you can easily duplicate
the steps for Indy)
