STCC2 anyone?

Hi,

just found a game called "STCC2" at my local outlet. Is it worth
getting? I don't seem to recall any postings on it, but then
again I haven't checked my kill file in a while ;-)

Thanks in advance for any comments,

Uwe

stcc2 is a fun game. handling is a little bit tricky (unreliable), sometimes
the car breakes out without any warning, but the A.I. is great. Graphics
also OK

Go for it. It's a really fun racing "game leaning towards sim". AI is a bit
slow in places, but otherwise very good IMO.

Go ahead and get it, Hoover!  Spend all your time for the next two weeks
playing it.  Then maybe I can beat you at 'Silvastun'...<g>

As the others said, go for it. It is inbetween sim and arcade. More sim than
SCGT is, if you ever played that title, as a comparison. Good graphics too.

There is an official patch that makes AI faster on the harder settings.

I agree, the game is good, somewere between game and sim. It gives you good
fun racing.

A warning however, please do not try the demo. The demo has some serious
bugs in the physics (specialy for the FWD cars),
that is corrected in the game. I did nearly not buy the game because of the
demo, but eventually I did and found that the bugs were gone.

Only for single race mode and even then it's still very track dependant.

Agreed, OTOH it gives you great overtaking opportunities :-)

You already beat me at Snetterton, my friend. Nobody's going
to ask you next year how you managed that, it's the position that
counts ;-)

PS: Don't worry about me at Silverstone, mate... driving RT is
serious fun.

I did?!?

Whoa - I didn't know that.  I don't feel that 'inheriting' spots is the same as
*earning* them, though.

you overtook me this time, when I took the "mile long escape road"
on the right sight of the track after the hairpin. I could hear
your car roaring by and thought "oh gawd, now you're truely last!"

Funny...<g>
Hmm...  I must have missed that in your race recap.  That explains why I kept
seeing the yellow flags, but never saw the car that CAUSED it...<g>

You really should get your facts straight before posting.

The network play is excellent and has a *** following on the Swedish servers.

That's right..Swedish servers,as it is a Swedish game and with Swedish tracks.

Good day.
