Funny, more than a few managers are quoted as saying the exact reverse of
that, and which has always been my understanding: the DWC comes before the
CWC every time. Eg, Ferrari were *not* happy with the CWC, they had to
make sure of winning the DWC. McLaren and Williams have only been playing
the "Team" game with no named #1 drivers because they've known for the last
3 years they had no chance of winning the DWC with any of their drivers.
That's my understanding of the situation anyway, the CWC is just a ***y
prize, the DWC is what they all strive for ;o)
