Thanks Maat, I'll try it.
Like you Andrew, I'd assumed that DX10 would be backwards compatible,
can't understand why MS wouldn't make it that way.
I'll give it a try tonight and see what happens.
I was wary of going Vista on my new machine, but I thought I'd bite the
bullet, as I've still got my XP disc, so could either revert to that or
maybe dual boot. I have to say though, that as yet, I've had no issues
with Vista (not quite a week in, so early days yet :-) ) It even seems
a bit quicker than XP, but that could just be down to it being a faster
machine, without years of ***on it, of course!!
