Hi there,

I just received my TSW2 Nascar Cup steering wheel yesterday and I love
it!  It comes with the two buttons on the wheel and I have a question,
although I think I know the answer..  I had a Thrustmaster digital 2
and programmed the change of views (F10 in N3 and N4) to a button and
the pause command to another button.  I programmed this through the
Thrustmaster utility.  I'm guessing that with the TSW setup getting
controlled completely through the windows interface that there's no
way to assign commands to these buttons if they are not programmable
from within the game itself (i.e. N3 and N4).  Is this correct?

I also have a TSW2, and I've tried two 3rd party programs that are supposed
to allow you to program button presses to emulate keystrokes.  I can get it
working fine in Windows, but when I enter N4 it stops working. :-(  I would
be THRILLED if someone has a way to map buttons to keystrokes....  that
works!!

I have a TSW2 Cup after having a LWFF with all its assignable buttons and
had a similar situation to yours. I fixed mine by getting the MS Game Voice
voice input so I could do all the button pushing and keyboard commands
(since steering unit on TSW is SO big) and haven't looked back. Unless you
have a fast computer though, some folks say the lag between voice input and
action is to great with Game Voice. I hear Game Commander 2 is out and is
faster, but game voice works ok for me.

I did post here before getting my TSW and was told that there is prgoram out
there that would allow you to assign buttons to functions. I don't know
where or what the program is, maybe someone else could lend a hand there.

I use Game Commander 2 and wouldn't race without it. <g>  My purpose for
wanting to map the TSW2 buttons is to activate GC2 and Roger Wilko from my
wheel buttons.
