Are you kidding? Tell me, if GPL had simillar graphics to World Grand
Prix on the Sega Master System, would you be happy?
We've already seen one new track added. Anybody know if there are any
others in site?

Well your wrong. There have been some great simulators this past year,
including SCGT, N3, SBK and GP500!
Not unless there's some DRASTIC improvement in the way racing
simulators are developed, no.
... to be a sequel to the current GPL. <g>
You're not reading enough of the messages on this group then!

Indy Car Legends!!! I swear it...if Papy makes a 50s or 60s Indy car sim GPL
will take a backseat to it. However I think i would still play GPL...so it
wouldnt totally un-hypnotize me.

Well, you mentioned the one thing that would make me give
up GPL, well, it would at least reduce the time spent with
GPL quite a bit...

A full field of 60's sports cars and saloons for SCGT. The Lotus Cortina
was an excellent start. however, I must admit I am not as hypnotized as
others in this newsgroup with GPL. As an engineer, I can appreciate the
fabulous model, and I keep coming back for the driving, but without
adequate time to invest, I keep slipping back in my days off and never
approach the top. SCGT provides a decent physics model (i.e. good enough
for the suspension of disbelief) and a full field of 60s cars would
provide the "atmosphere" to make me race it for many weeks.

The real question it...what will it take to make me give up RC2K and
TOCA 2....
Before people say you've got to play it for hours...I don't want to...
I've driven FF1600 at Castle Combe, UK...and if I do say so myself - put
myself on row 3 of a 35 car line up...so I'm clearly not just a ***
driver....
It's just that GPL doesn't do it for me....

internet multiplayer and real good physics. most of the sim-titles in
the last year lacked at least one. and so will GP3. don't get me wrong:
I loved GP2, but I wanted to drive with 20 other drivers on an internet
server. no internet multiplayer no go.

The problem is when you boot up a new racing game, as soon as you start
driving round, you start thinking "Oh no! I'm wasting good GPL time
playing this!".
Consequently you have to quit out and load GPL.
